Location

The West Gloucestershire Hockey Club's ground is located at Badminton School, on the edge of Durdham Downs, which is in the heart of Bristol.

Please ensure that your team and fellow players follow the rules below:-

1. No speeding.
2. Park in designated spaces.
3. Change in changing rooms provided, not by the side of the pitch, other than          for the removal of track suits.
4. No swearing.
5. Make use of the toilet facilities provided.
6. Please use litter bins provided.

To get to Badminton School, exit the M5 at junction 17 and join the A4018 signposted Bristol West.  Continue along the A4018 crossing three roundabouts, for approximately 4 miles, and Badminton School is on the right at the junction with Cote Lane.  Turn right immediately and enter the Lodge Gate into the school grounds.

If travelling from the M4, bypass Bristol and join the M5 at junction 20 then follow the directions above.

If travelling from south of the City Centre, for the City Centre and join the ring road following signs for the A4 West.  Join the A4, travel around the City Centre and after passing under the Clifton Suspension Bridge turn right onto the A4176, signposted Bristol Zoo.  Travel past the Zoo and continue for approximately half a mile, through some traffic lights when you take a left onto the A4018 Westbury Road.  Travel across a roundabout and take the next turning left for Cote Lane.  Turn right immediately and enter the Lodge Gate into the school grounds.
